Nashville - Bringing home the Bacon!
January 15-16, 2010

Monster Jam
Sommet Center
Nashville, TN
01/15-16/2010

That rest from Atlanta really helped out! We needed it! Being a super star on live television in all, it'll drain you! We kid, we kid. We headed down the road a couple hundred miles this weekend to Nashville, Tennessee for MONSTER JAM at Sommet Center.

The action wasn't as intense as Atlanta, and there weren't as many trucks to compete against, but everyone wanted to bring home a win or two, or three. Get'er Done, Mechanical Mischief, Robo Machine, Pouncer, and Predator were all competing for Monster Jam glory for two events on Friday night and Saturday night.

The weekend consisted of wheelie competition, racing, and freestyle each show.

Drivers had to jump the crush cars three times in roundy-round racing before crossing the finish line. This lead to a lot of tight turning, and a lot of intense action.

Randy Moore in War Wizard knocked out Pouncer in Round 1 of racing, advancing into Round 2 to take on Mechanical Mischief. After a quick battle, the wizard used his wand and defeated Mechanical Mischief. Pouncer somehow managed to be the fastest loser in Round 1 scoring him advancement into Round 2 where he took a win. Racing finals paired War Wizard against Pouncer. Backing up his win in Round 1, Randy was on kill to take down the cat once more. A fast paced run with perfect turns by Randy Moore put the cat down and earned Randy Moore and War Wizard their first racing win of 2010 in Randy's home state of Tennessee.

War Wizard performed well in freestyle on Friday night, earning a 17, placing him in the middle of the pack. The cats came out for revenge as Pouncer scored a 20, and team truck Predator dominated the night with a 26. Randy Moore didn't care; he grabbed a racing win for RAD RACING and WAR WIZARD.

Saturday night racing started out with War Wizard knocking out Mechanical Mischief in Round 1. Pouncer squared off against War Wizard in Round 2 of racing only to be knocked out and tamed for the night. Team truck Predator with Allen Pezo behind the helm wasn't about to let Randy Moore defeat the cats. Randy had other plans though, and was on his A-game. In Racing Finals Randy rocked the house and was a truck length ahead of Predator when War Wizard got caught up on the turning lane crush cars. These cars are put into place to prevent drivers from knocking seconds off the clock, and prevent them from hitting turning poles which could pose a safety risk. Randy hit them perfectly causing the truck to get out of control and allowing Predator to clinch the racing win.

Randy was on fire, like Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights (a must see movie, by the way) for freestyle. War Wizard suffered some mechanical issues during the final round of racing, but the team fixed the bugs and was ready to dominate freestyle. Predator and War Wizard were on kill for freestyle, each wanting to win badly, yet no matter who won they would win in their home state. Predator laid down a solid freestyle performance, but it was War Wizard who laid it all out and brought home the trophy by one point. Nailing everything there was to nail, War Wizard dominated freestyle with donuts, lots of air, and speed.

After it was all over with the team loaded up and headed home with two Monster Jam trophies from Nashville. Clinching the racing win on Friday night and the freestyle win on Saturday night. The team feels good and is ready for some fun next weekend in sunny Florida at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Saturday, January 23rd.
