WAR WIZARD DEDICATES FIRST EVER PERFORMANCE AT PAUL BROWN STADIUM TO CHASE WILSON
July 10, 2010
Monster Jam
Paul Brown Stadium
Cincinnati, OH
Saturday night marked the first ever Monster Jam inside Paul Brown Stadium, and also was the spotlight for the first Monster Jam event to air on SPEED Channel in 2011. Paul Brown Stadium will certainly go down in the record books for War Wizard Racing.
It wasn't all about Monster Jam this past weekend, it was also about a young War Wizard fan by the name of Chase Wilson. Chase spent a while at Cincinnati Children's Hospital earlier nearly a year ago. Chase has a rare disease with no name, that has only been seen in one other person in the United States. Eight months ago Chase was given a year to live. He has his good and bad days, and thankfully he is still with us.
With Monster Jam and SPEED Channel's help and blessing, Randy Moore was given the opportunity to to personally thank Cincinnati Children's Hospital Saturday night before War Wizard's freestyle performance. Randy dedicated his freestyle to Chase, and explained to the Cincinnati crowd how their children's hospital gave Chase the hope for a bright future. A very emotional speech lead to fans crying in the stands and as Randy finished his interview the crowd started applauding for several minutes. Chase was in everyones heart at Paul Brown Stadium.
"I feel lucky to know him as he is an inspiration to all of us. Life throws us curves, we think we have problems until you think about how hard it really could be. Chase just wants a chance to have a life." stated Randy Moore.
"We're going to have Chase come down to Bristol Motor Speedway in August for the upcoming monster truck event. It's my hometown, and we're going to get him fixed up in a suite. I'm also going to get him a copy of the interview to show Chase as it will not air on SPEED Channel until 2011. I want to make sure he can see that special night and how he was in everyones heart this past Saturday night. I will always have a good feeling in my heart for the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and all of the Monster Jam fans in Cincinnati. It was one night I will never forget." continued Randy Moore.
